Kristy is a fourth-generation Dallasite and graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree, she spread her wings briefly in California and Austin, TX, before returning to settle down in Dallas and marry her husband of 25 years (and counting). After raising their three daughters, Kristy has learned that the world is ever-changing, just like the Mortgage business, and she's embraced it by staying educated and up to date on those changes. Kristy began her career as a Realtor, which evolved into an Escrow Officer— each role giving her a deeper understanding of the home buying process, ultimately guiding her toward becoming a Loan Officer. She has always loved working with seniors and found that she particularly enjoyed helping this demographic. After her former company moved over to Fairway Independent Mortgage, Kristy heard about Fairway's extensive training on Reverse Mortgages.
She jumped at the chance to become an expert in this specialty product line.
