Mark Richards and his wife Jackie have lived in Fair Lawn since 2001 with their children Ana & Ian. Prior to getting into the mortgage business in 2009 and joining Fairway in 2011. Mark was involved in the distribution side of the music industry for over 20 years and also performed professionally as a musician with a band. As a committed parent who wants to make a difference in the world, Mark has been leading a Fathering group and finds this extremely rewarding. Mark has always been passionate about giving borrowers a white glove experience when purchasing their home or refinancing their loan. A priority is making the borrowing experience as simple and hassle free as possible. Speaking in plain English and simplifying the concepts is a hallmark of working with Mark. In late 2012 and 2013, Mark began learning about the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage to serve the senior population and has since been designated a Reverse Mortgage Planner through Fairway. He has focused his practice on raising the quality of life for seniors and educating financial planners, CPAs, attorneys and realtors about this product.
