David has served in the Mortgage Industry since 1995 and has 30 years in Retirement planning within the Insurance Industry. He owned and operated an independent insurance agency in Raleigh, NC for 15 years and managed a mortgage company for 7 of those years. David sold his company in 2007 to focus entirely on educating borrowers, their children, realtors and financial advisors on the Reverse Mortgage and HECM Purchase loan programs. David is the former Speaker/Educator for the NC Dept of Housing on the HECM Purchase loan program and was interviewed on local TV Show, Community Matters.
David actively serves and advocates for the senior population. He has served as a board member for The Broad Street Medical Clinic; a Non-Profit Medical Center located in Morehead City, NC, the Pitt county Aging Coalition, and as a member of the NC Senior Care Council. David is a graduate from Shenandoah College, in Winchester VA. He is happily married. He and his wife have a daughter, son, and two dogs.
