With over 24 years of experience and hundreds of closed transactions to his credit, there are very few lending situations that David hasn’t already faced with customers and overcome. Closing loans for many property types from floating homes to commercial properties, and specializing in Reverse Mortgage Loans for the past 11 years. David is a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional, but David originates both Forward and Reverse Mortgages, which gives him the resources to help his clients throughout their entire lives. David diligently strives to find the best lending solution/loan program for each customer’s particular situation. He enjoys working with the 55 plus age group and helping them select the best financing options for themselves as well as their families.
David’s purpose in utilizing Reverse Mortgages is to expand options for his clients as they approach their retirement years, and to help them increase their wealth by incorporating all assets at their disposal. David is passionate about teaching his clients how to take a familiar asset like home equity and turn it into a high performing income generator.
For the past 29 years David has been active in the real estate business. In addition to being a loan officer / Retirement Mortgage Specialist, he has been a mortgage business owner, property owner and manager, remodeler, builder, and instructor. He has taught first-time home buyer, real estate investment classes, Retirement Mortgage Classes, – both publicly and privately – for many years.
David also supports his community by volunteering at organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Compassion Connect Clinics, Western Youth Development, Parry Center for Children, Boys and Girls Club, Oregon Council of the Blind, Centennial Little League, and Teens Fighting Hunger, various food drives, cooking events to feed the homeless, and the local hospital emergency room & ICU.
