Hi, I’m Justin, and welcome to the Burris Mortgage Group! Originally from Hickory, NC, I moved to the Triangle in 1998 and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2002, where I entered the banking world. I quickly developed a passion for lending and, in 2005, began focusing solely on residential mortgage lending.
Throughout my over 20-year career, I’ve specialized in everything from reverse mortgage loan planning and construction lending to government, jumbo and conventional loans. For the last several years, I’m honored to have been ranked in Mortgage Executive magazine's top 1% of loan originators, focusing on reverse mortgage planning.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my wife, Julie, and my two daughters, Hudson and Lucy. I also enjoy golfing, cooking and chauffeuring my children throughout Raleigh — the place I now proudly call home.
