The three things I am most passionate about are my faith, family and work – passion inspires dedication! I am a Richmond, Virginia native, where I have spent most of my life working and raising my family. One thing I love about Richmond is the sense of community I experience. It is large enough to provide numerous opportunities for fun, networking and outreach while providing the interconnectedness of a small town. Most of my career has been in the mortgage business – over 20 years. After receiving my B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech, I started with a local bank. After several years, and a few transitions, I landed at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. Fairway is by far the best company I have worked with, primarily because of the fantastic culture.
Along the way, I obtained my M.B.A. with a concentration in finance. While I think education is important, it is secondary to a strong work ethic and desire to help people, which is what drives the culture here!
