After graduating from the Robert O. Anderson School of Business at the University of New Mexico in 1982, Steve Buckingham embarked on a distinguished financial career. For over 15 years, he served clients as a Certified Financial Planner with a Fortune 200 company before transitioning to the mortgage industry in 1996. Steve’s expertise spans various areas, including loan origination, wholesale lending, reverse mortgages (purchase or refinance) and underwriting.
With over 35 years of personal experience as a homebuyer, Steve brings invaluable knowledge of the real estate markets to his clients. Specializing in residential real estate finance, he covers a wide range of loan types, like VA, FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Non-Conforming Jumbo loans.
