Steve Cox Branch Manager, Fairway Independent Mortgage Company. Steve began his mortgage finance career in 2003 as a licensed loan originator. Since then he has been an owner of Park Place Mortgage, and co-owner of Stonebrook Mortgage. From 2009 to 2014 he was a Producing Branch Manager at Waterstone Mortgage Corporation, before assuming the same current role at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation.
Steve is very involved in his industry serving as: Past Chairperson, Boise Regional REALTORS® Political Affairs Committee; Boise Regional Realtors 2016 Affiliate of the Year; Advisory Board Member, TitleOne Corporation; Past President, Idaho Association of Mortgage Professionals; Past Advisory Board Member, Idaho Department of Finance, Consumer Finance Division. Steve originates reverse mortgages in Boise, Idaho and throughout the state, and is licensed in more than five other states.
Steve is a long-time Idahoan. He and his wife have two daughters currently attending Idaho universities. Steve enjoys mountain biking, water sports of all types, snow skiing and snowboarding, spending time in the McCall mountains on weekends, and exploring the vast beautiful outdoors.
